Job Quality Control CO-OP/Internship (Hybrid) - Fall Term, Brampton

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSurvalent is seeking a dynamic, adaptable, and driven Quality Control coop student/intern for an exciting 8- or 12-months work term this September 2026. In this role, you’ll help support the development, enhancement, and release of features within Survalent’s Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). Responsibilities & Essential Functions: * Verify and validate product and project requirements * Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and test cases * Prepare and manage the test environment * Execute functional, performance, and integration test cases * Develop and maintain test automation scripts and packages * Report defects, and follow up on resolutions * Support customer and sales teams with technical consultancy * Collaborate with Product Development Teams to build the most reliable solutions * And other duties as required. Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Must be enrolled in a university program specializing in a software development, engineering, or related field * Experience in the software development lifecycle, software testing, and system integration * Familiar with waterfall, iterative and agile methodology * Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, effective verbal, and written communication skills * Must be self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic * Good teamwork skills * Computer programming and object-oriented design concepts is an asset * Familiarity with ADMS, SCADA, OMS, DMS, TCP/IP, FTP, SOA/XML, Modbus, DNP3, SNMP, is an asset The successful candidate will report to the software Quality Control & Release Management Manager.
