COMPENSATION & BENEFITS- Competitive base salary in the range of $70,000 to $83,000.

THE LOCATION- The office is located in Brampton, ON
- Work is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
- This position requires full-time, in-office attendance at the Brampton office
- Steel products and fabrication services tailored to construction and industrial projects
- Comprehensive project coordination and sales support within the steel industry
- Expertise in steel grades, plate processing, and interpreting technical drawings
- Integrated customer service managing quotes, orders, production planning, and logistics coordination
- Orders primarily involve steel products with varying complexity and size, depending on customer needs
- The sales cycle is largely driven by project timelines and can range from quick turnaround quotes to large projects requiring several weeks to months for completion
- Typical sales cycle for routine orders is shorter, while major project quotes and approvals can extend the cycle significantly
- Customer service representatives support the conversion of quotes into orders and manage ongoing communication throughout the sales process to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and accurate information
- Prepare and send quotes for smaller projects, ensuring pricing and details are correct
- Process incoming orders and enter them into the ERP system
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
- Track order status and proactively communicate updates or delays to customers
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications as needed for quotes and orders
- Resolve customer issues or escalate them to the appropriate team member
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and orders
- Support project coordination for larger or more complex orders

- 3-7 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, sales support, or project coordination within the steel fabrication, steel center, or heavy industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of steel grades, plate processing, and the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
- Experience working with ERP systems and coordinating with production, logistics, and sales teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Post Secondary Education
- Proficient with ERP systems relevant to steel fabrication and logistics
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and technical documents
- Strong computer skills with multitasking capability
- MS Excel for data entry and quote preparation
- MS Word for correspondence and documentation
- Effective use of email and online communication tools
- Familiarity with online screen sharing and virtual meeting platforms
