Job Customer Service Representative, Brampton

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inquiries related to invoices, payments, statements, and account balances via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
• Work collaboratively with the accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) teams to resolve customer or vendor concerns.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing, payments, and account data.
• Communicate and clarify company financial policies and procedures to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with processing payment requests, refunds, and credit memos when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and issue resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate accounting personnel or management.
• Support the monthly and year-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation or customer-related data.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations during all customer service processes.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements within the finance and customer service workflows.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service or accounting support experience, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
