Job Mental Health Therapist - Intensive Outpatient Program, Brampton

Job Description

Accountabilities:

• Psychosocial intake assessments for individuals referred to the intensive outpatient program from within the hospital as well as from the community
• Individual psychotherapy
• Plan and conduct psycho educational and process groups
• Facilitate an evening family group
• Consult and coordinate patient care within the hospital as well as collaborate with community resources and plan for transition to community programs
• Follow the documentation guidelines as defined by their respective college (i.e. social work college, occupational therapy college, registered psychotherapist) as well as the mental health department
• Participate in ongoing professional development
